Tony's Macaroni Soup

Tomatoes, tomato soup, mixed veggies and desired cooked meat (chicken, ground beef or turkey) are combined with macaroni, seasoned with cilantro.
Ingredients
- 1 cup macaroni
- 1 large can diced tomatoes
- 1 can mixed vegetables or 1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 lb (3 cups) diced cooked chicken OR 1 lb. ground turkey or ground beef, cooked & drained
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 diced onion
- 1 diced red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- Salt to taste

Method
Cook macaroni as instructed on label. When done, rinse with cool water. In a large pot add tomatoes, tomato soup, 1 soup can of water, garlic clove, onion, red pepper, and sugar. Bring to a boil on medium heat. Add mixed vegetables, reduce heat to medium and let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Add meat and cilantro; simmer and stir for 5 minutes. Then add macaroni, black pepper, and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes.
