Smoked Beer in the Rear Chicken

Grab a can of your favorite beer and put it up a barbecue seasoned chicken. Grill it and prepare to eat.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 can beer
  • 1/2 cup dry barbeque rub
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 1 small onion, roughly chopped
  • 2 tsp Liquid Smoke

Method

Wash and pat dry chicken. Rub barbeque rub over entire chicken. Cover and let marinate in fridge for up to 24 hrs. When ready, using a can opener, open beer and pour about 1/4 into another cup to save for later. Place garlic onion and Liquid Smoke into can. Place chicken on can and set on grill once coals are ready. Place lid on grill and let smoke 2-3 hours, or when chicken is no longer pink in center. Leftover beer can be brushed on chicken as it smokes.
