Maker's Mark Creole Mustard Orange Sauce

This bourbon sauce for chicken also contains orange juice, chicken broth, whole grain mustard and honey, plus some hot pepper sauce.
 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Maker's Mark bourbon
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon bottled hot sauce

Method

Flame bourbon and reduce by half. Add orange juice and chicken stock; reduce to 1/3. Add mustard, honey and hot sauce; simmer for three to four minutes. Serve over grilled chicken.
