Linda's Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

Make homemade chicken noodle soup with skinless, boneless chicken breasts, noodles, potatoes, onion, corn, cream of chicken soup, and broth.
 

Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 chicken breast
  • large dumpling noodles
  • 5 potatoes diced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 med bag frozen corn
  • 1 lg can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 lg can chicken broth

Method

Boil chicken in water (enough to cover chicken). When done remove and cut up; set aside. Add potatoes to broth from boiled chicken, boil till almost done. Add noodles, corn, and onion boil until noodles are tender and done. Add cream of chicken soup and the can of broth. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

 

Notes: Make sure you use the large egg noodles also known as dumpling noodles. You may omit the potato if you wish.
