A sandwich is made with your choice of meats, cheeses, breads, spreads, lettuce and tomato, then sprinkled with garlic powder, freshly ground pepper, and a combo of parmesan and romano cheeses.

Ingredients

  • Luncheon meats of your choice
  • Cheese(s) of your choice
  • Bread(s) or rolls of your chioce (sliced)
  • Sandwich spreads (mayo, mustard, or try 'creamy' salad dressings) of your choice
  • Lettuce (try Romaine, red leaf or butter, much more nutritious and flavorful than iceberg)
  • Tomato (a firm one, in thin slices) Garlic powder or garlic salt
  • Fresh ground pepper
  • Romano & Parmesean (Kraft combo) Grated Cheese

Method

Throw your sandwich together the way you like, everybody has their own technique. However before 'closing' your sandwich, lightly sprinkle the 'insides' with some garlic powder or garlic salt, fresh ground pepper and the Romano/Parmesan grated cheese. These ingredients really add flavor to the sandwich.

Notes: Tip for a less 'soggy' sandwich. Always place tomato slices between the meat and cheese (especially important if pre-making a sandwich for your 'lunch box/sack'). I usually start assembling the sandwich by 'spreading' the top and bottom slices with the 'spreads'. Then layer the 'bottom' slice with the meat, then the tomato, and then place on the cheese, then sprinkle on the garlic powder/salt, pepper milled pepper, Romano/Parmesan cheese, add lettuce, and then 'top' slice of bread. Enjoy!
