Hot-style Chicken Chinese

Chicken chunks, onion and green pepper slices are cooked quickly and flavored with garlic powder and hot Szechuan sauce.
 

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast halves, cut into pieces
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup Szechuan sauce
  • Olive oil to cover bottom of pan

Method

Add olive oil to pan. When oil is hot, add chicken, and cook until done. Remove chicken, add onion slices, green pepper slices and garlic powder. Cook 8 minutes or until vegetables become slightly tender. Add chicken back into pan, and stir in Szechuan sauce.

 

Notes: Serve with rice, if desired.
