Grilled Chicken Hawaiian Sandwich

This chicken sandwich has fresh lettuce, roasted red peppers and alfalfa sprouts to give it a great flavor.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz chicken breast
  • 2 oz roasted red peppers
  • 1 oz shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 oz mayonnaise
  • 2 slices Hawaiian sandwich bread
  • 1 oz alfalfa sprouts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Canola oil spray

Method

Lightly coat both sides of breast with oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill chicken breast till done and set aside. Build sandwich in the following steps, first slice of bread followed by mayonnaise, shredded lettuce, chicken breast, roasted red peppers, alfalfa sprouts and then the second slice of bread spread with the remaining mayonnaise to finish the sandwich.
