This grilled, hot and spicy chicken dish is full of heat and flavor. The kabobs make a great dinner presentation.
Slice limes into halves and quarter each halve. Squeeze juice from limes onto a large dinner plate. Keep each section of limes for further use. Cut chicken into thin strips that will fit into pepper halves. Add lemon pepper and hot sauce to lime juice on plate. Place chicken pieces in juice on plate and cover with plastic wrap. Let marinate for 1 hour. Cut jalapenos into halves lengthwise and remove all seeds. Place marinated chicken into pepper halves and wrap each with a 1/2 piece of bacon. Push onto skewers, then add a piece of lime, a cherry tomato, and a pearl onion onto skewer. Continue until skewer is full. Pour any juices left onto peppers as you grill. Cook until chicken and bacon are done. Remove from skewers, throw away lime pieces, and enjoy the rest.
Notes:
This can be a real hot treat so some may wish not to add hot sauce.
