|1 jar||Chinese Plum Sauce|
|2||Blood Oranges, sliced|
Prepare the chicken by removing the giblets and other organs. These can be added to the crock pot. Loosen skin all around and rub some of the plum sauce under the skin next to the meat and inside the cavity as well. Place a little bit of the chopped onion and oranges into the cavity. Layer the remaining chopped onions and oranges on the bottom of the crock pot. Place the chicken in on top of the onions and pour the remaining plum sauce on top of the chicken. Cook until the chicken falls apart.
Don't forget to make gravy from the juices in the crock pot. I like to strain off the onions and oranges, then boil down the sauce. Delicious and easy!
