Creamy Mushroom Crock Pot Chicken

Purchased Alfredo sauce, sour cream, Colby-Monterey Jack cheese and wine add richness and flavor to the sauce for these chicken breasts cooked in the crock pot.

  • Servings: 6

Ingredients:

6 Boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
2 cups Flour, for coating
2 Tbsp Roasted Garlic
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Olive Oil, as needed
2 jars Alfredo Sauce
16 oz Sour Cream
1 Large Package Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
1 cup Dry White Wine
1 Large Package Sliced Mushrooms
Cooked Linguini or Rice, if desired

Directions:

Coat chicken in mixture of flour, garlic, salt and pepper. Brown in some olive oil on both sides. Place chicken in a crock pot with remaining ingredients, mixing gently with a large spoon. Cook on high heat setting for 4-5 hours (or on low heat for 8-10 hours) until chicken is very tender. May be served plain, or over linguini or rice.
