
This soup contains pieces of chicken, onion, green chilies and tomato, plus evaporated milk or whole milk. Garlic and cumin are added for flavor.
1. Wash and cut chicken in strips
2. Heat oil in a medium pot
3. Add garlic and saute, then add onions, cumin, green chilies; fry slightly
4. Then add the chicken pieces and saute a few minutes
5. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper, then mix in the water and let it come to a boil.
6. As the soup boils, mix in the milk gradually and let it simmer for 1/2 hour on medium low.
7. Add lemon juice when serving.
Notes:
It can be converted to chicken noodle soup, if noodles are added to it as you boil, during the last few minutes.
