Chicken with Lemon Sauce

This fresh chicken dish is easy to prepare and full of flavor. Pair this dish with fresh vegetables and some rice pilaf for a great meal.
 

Ingredients

  • 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Flour for dredging
  • Oil for browning

Method

Dip chicken in flour. In a large skillet, brown chicken in a small amount of oil. Pour water and bouillon cubes into pan along with lemon juice. Cover and cook on med-low until chicken is no longer pink inside. Taste sauce and add more lemon juice if desired. Remove cover and continue to cook until sauce has thickened. Serve with lemon slices, rice pilaf and a green vegetable.
