Chicken and Rice Casserole

Chicken pieces and two kinds of uncooked rice (yellow and white) are baked together along with cream of chicken soup in this main dish.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, cut up
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 small bag yellow rice
  • 2 cups white rice

Method

Wash chicken. Sprinkle uncooked rice evenly over the bottom of a rectangular baking dish. Put chicken pieces over the rice; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spoon cream of chicken soup over chicken. Pour 4 cups of water over the chicken and rice. Cover with tin foil and put in the oven. Bake at 375 degrees about 1 hour or until rice is fluffy. Take out and let cool for a few minutes; will be very hot. Dig in.
