Chicken breasts are poached and covered with a sauce made from ranch salad dressing, evaporated milk, and plenty of shredded cheese. This may be served with rice, potatoes or pasta.

6– 8 Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 cups Water
16 oz. bottle Ranch Dressing
12 oz. can Evaporated Milk
1 lb Cheese of Choice, cheddar, colby/jack etc.), shredded


In a skillet pour water and add chicken. Cook until chicken is done; drain. Return chicken to skillet. Meanwhile, in a saucepan pour ranch dressing and evaporated milk; heat until warm. Add cheese and continue to warm until cheese is melted, stirring frequently. Pour mixture over chicken; cover and simmer on low heat about 10 minutes. Serve with rice, potatoes or pasta, and spoon the cheesy ranch sauce over it.
