Cajun Country Barbeque Sauce

Green pepper, onion and plenty of garlic give this tomato based barbecue sauce rich flavor--serve on chicken.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic bulbs, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar

Method

Saute chopped vegetables in sunflower oil until tender. Add ketchup, mustard, and vinegar. Mix thoroughly and use on chicken or pork as you would barbeque sauce.

 

Notes: This one is a family favorite.
