Beer Can Chicken

This unique grilled chicken is made with a can of beer and Creole seasoning. For additional flavor add Caribbean Jerk seasoning.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole fryer with skin
  • 1 can beer, any brand
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • Cavender's Greek Seasoning
  • Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning

Method

1. Coat entire chicken with both seasonings - be sure to leave skin on the chicken! 2. Pour half of the beer out of the can - discard. 3. Add soy sauce to remaining beer in the can. 4. Place can on a shallow pan large enough to surround the chicken. 5. Place chicken on top of can using legs to help support and balance the chicken upright. 6. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. 7. Remove can before serving!

Notes: Carribbean Jerk seasoning can also be added for additional flavor.

Number of servings: 4-5
